Oh June what a wonderful month you have been – the start of Summer! It has been a busy one (is there any other?) with lots to be happy about.
Here is what we have been loving this month.
Milestones
It was a month of milestones for Harri. She celebrated her birthday this month and had a little party with her preschool friends at soft play which she loved (me not so much, my ears were ringing for hours afterwards!). She also started a new dance class and she has had a couple of settling in sessions in her new school!!! So much going on for my little girl.
Sunshine
Similar to May we have had some lovely sunshine! The paddling pool has been out again, the girls have had their swimming costumes on, we have been eating lots of ice cream – it has been bliss!! I have said this before but everything seems so much easier when the sun is shining. (I should note that it is raining as I write this – please come back sunshine)
Adventures
We had a little adventure to Cardigan this month which was amazing. We love nothing more than packing up our car and going on a road trip. It is nice to have a change of scenery and it is even nicer to just spend some time together as a family. We simply cant wait for our next one.
New friends
I had a little night out with some of the school mums this month and it was really nice. I always feel a little nervous on these nights out and I do contemplate not going – don’t get me wrong they are all so lovely but I don’t really know anyone all that well. However I went and I had a great time. I am so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone – cocktails in the sunshine with good company was just what I needed.
Alfie
Alfie is 6 months on 29th June and I can’t quite believe my boy has been with us for half a year already. It has flown by!! We are weaning which as you can imagine is messy but fun. He is such a delight, so pleasant always smiling. He is just so special.
So here we are entering July!!! Mine and hubbies birthday, a family holiday, the beginning of the six weeks of adventures with my girls. I feel very excited (and truthfully a little nervous!!!)

Oh gosh, those nights out with the school mums really are scary aren’t they? Always good when you get there though. Glad you’ve had such a fab month and I hope July is equally brilliant for you all.

Such happy looking children! Glad you had a great month! Our sun is finally starting to shine now 🙂 2 days ago when I was driving back from work there were sooo many happy kids everywhere… last day of school was just getting out for the year! Made me happy to see the kids joy haha!

Happy Birthday Harri! It seems like there are a lot of birthdays in June including my little man, we had a party at home but I think I’ll be giving that a miss next year and do soft play.
