Here comes October….

Here comes October….

So after a bit of a stressful week of flying solo, my husband returned home and we were all ready for the weekend and the beginning of October. Unfortunately the first day of October brought a lot of rain and the winter coats and woolly hats were most definitely out! We went to Ness gardens for a little run around and explore – it was so wet we couldn’t stay out for long but it was nice to get some fresh air and calm after the busy week.

Here are some of our pictures:

    1. This is definitely a great way to be welcoming Autumn into the world, I’ve not had to dig out a hat yet but it’s certainly getting colder in the mornings and evenings here. I love the shot of the girls together on the wall, so sweet.

Thanks for linking up with me on #CountryKids.

  1. Gorgeous photos. It looks really cold already, we can still be outside without a coat, it’s that warm. Very unusual for this time of the year though…

  2. I saw those coats on Insta and was so in love with them! Oh I love all those photos! #pointshoot

  3. Gorgeous photos! We spent our first day of October mainly driving down the M4 in the pouring rain and then back again! Met some family for a lunch – we were going to head to a park afterwards for the boys but the rain was torrential! Not enjoyable driving either #WhatevertheWeather

  4. Beautiful photos! I spent the first day of October running – well 16 1/2 hours of it anyway. Madness. Hopefully the rest of October will be a bit more sedate!

  5. Hard to believe it’s already time for warm weather clothes. I know it’s coming soon for us, but at the moment I’m just enjoying the leaves turning. Love the water droplets on the leaves #Whatevertheweather

  6. Such lovely photos. It’s not nice walking around in the rain but I love the photos. We still have very war weather at the moment but I’m not sure how long it will last x #pointshoot

  7. Such gorgeous pictures, Natalie. I love the top one. Your girls are too cute!! It really is getting a lot colder now – Autumn/Winter is definitely here. I can cope with the crisp and sunny days, but I very much dislike all the rain we usually get. #MyCapturedMoment

  8. It looks like you had a great day! Sometimes it’s nice to get out for the day, even if it is wet! I love your girls jackets, they are so sweet! Also love the angle with the camera on the floor! Thanks for linking up to #Whatevertheweather 🙂 xx

  9. Oh wow, such gorgeous photos. It’s not been cold enough for hats here, but we did have a stomp around the garden looking for crispy leaves which was lots of fun! #CountryKids

  10. Gorgeous photos. We’ve been lucky enough with the weather and we’ve not needed coats yet but it’s quickly heading that way. I spent the start of October baking for the childrens’ packed lunches so I was cosy and warm in my kitchen!

  11. I was batch cooking for when the weather gets colder. It’s still warmish here, so no need for coats or hats yet.By the end of the month we’ll be wearing them for sure and the heating will go on too.
