Autumn Bucket List

Autumn Bucket List

A little bit late for this, however, September was such a busy month, I am now hoping October will be much calmer and we can all embrace the season a little more. I have seen lots of bloggers write a little Autumn bucket list and I love the idea so I thought I would ask the girls what they would like to do this Autumn.

Here is what we came up with:

  • Conker search – we have done this already but the girls had so much fun we are going to go find some more!
  • Have a leaf fight! Yes we love this and we tend to gang up on Daddy!!
  • Go to a bonfire display – this is an annual tradition but we are going to fully embrace it this year with the BBQ and funfair they have
  • Go pumpkin picking – we have never done this before but I love the idea of it and just think of the pictures!
  • Carve a pumpkin – naturally!
  • Make some Halloween cupcakes or biscuits.
  • Collect some fir combs – we do this every year then paint them ready for the festive season.
  • Wrap up warm and go play on the beach until it gets dark.
  • Make hot chocolate after a cold afternoon outdoors (this was Meme’s suggestion even though she doesn’t like hot chocolate!)
  • Collect some leaves and do some leaf printing – my girls love finding pretty leaves.

Can you think of anymore we can add? Have you got an Autumn bucket list?

  1. This is a great list. We love cooking bacon sandwiches out in the woods. Carefully of course. Nothing better on a cool day than sitting with a hot drink and a bacon sandwich in the countryside. #sharewithme

  2. Ha my boys are more into the idea of hot chocolate rather than actually drinking it, it baffles me that they don’t like it!! They’ll just ask for marshmallow instead. Lovely ideas, pumpkin picking is our favourite think to do at this time of year! So much fun xx

  3. We don’t have a bucket list but I am definitely going to go to a pumpkin picking farm this year!! We’ve just been getting out as much as possible and enjoying this sunshine, I’d forgotten how much I love Autumn actually! #sharewithme

  4. These are great ideas I love the leaf fight idea! I’d love to take my two to a firework display but I think they’re a little young still and would be scared. Good luck I hope you get to tick them all off your list. Thanks for sharing at #familyfun xx

  5. Autumn is my favourite season. I don’t think we have a pumpkin patch near us but you are right that’d be an awesome picture moment! Toffee apples and skimming stones on iced up canals! I hope you manage to find an answer! I don’t think its easy though. I’m trying to work out how to get my 15 month old to sleep without boob at the moment. Cue crying lots of it! Thanks for linking up to #familyfun.

  6. I love this list! We are going pumpkin picking at the weekend I think, I’ve just been told about somewhere near us that has a pumpkin patch! We are all about a nice hot chocolate too, after a cold walk out it’s perfect to come home to! Thanks so much for joining us at #SharingtheBlogLove

  7. Fabulous! We have done an autumn list and have very similar things to you. I love the idea of playing on the beach until it gets dark, unfortunately our nearest beach is a two hour drive away, so not so practical! Maybe next Autumn, when my girls are a bit bigger.

  8. Oh I love this! I didn’t know you could go pumpkin picking, I’m off to take a look. My favourite is going on the beach until it’s dark, I wish we were a bit closer to the beach to do this. Hot chocolate and marshmallows are a must in our house. Thank you for joining us at #SharingtheBlogLove X

  9. Such great ideas! We like going to the cider mill near us, picking up some fresh cinnamon and sugar doughnuts and apple cider and taking it to the park in our neighborhood to enjoy and play. We do this AT LEAST once a week.

  10. It is the only season I ever want to write a bucket list, I really love Autumn but this Autumn I am struggling to motivate. Maybe because before now the weather meant it felt too nice.
I think I shall have to write a mini list after seeing this xx
