It has been a pretty bad week with back to school, starting preschool, work and generally trying to get back into some kind of routine we have all been really tired, really grumpy and very emotional (this has generally been me!! lets blame the pregnancy hormones!).
However there are still lots of reasons to be happy:
- Preschool was a success! I was so nervous I really was, but she went in smiling and came out smiling! Can only be a good sign.
- I had a midwife appointment this week and heard my baby’s heartbeat – so lovely. I cant wait until December – only 3 months to go – and we all know that is going to fly by!
- Surprisingly warm weather for this time of year – we have a little adventure planned next week so I hope the sunshine continues.
- Cold Feet is back – now I don’t watch a lot of TV but I was really looking forward to this and it did not disappoint! It was really good – did you watch it?
- I finally got around to getting my hair done! I wasn’t going anywhere special but my roots where in a great need of dying – getting your hair done always makes you feel so much better!
- We had a little photo shoot on Thursday with The Whispering Willow I haven’t received all the pictures yet but I have has a sneaky peak at a few and they are amazing! I am looking forward to sharing them all.
So yes quite a busy week – I think once we get back into the swing of the school runs and Harri settles in Preschool everything will calm down a bit….fingers crossed.
What has made you happy this week?

I’m pleased preschool went well, you just never know how it’s going to go until the moment you arrive! I loved cold feet, like you I don’t watch much tv, but it was brilliant. Listening to the heart beat was always my favourite thing to do, so reassuring to hear it. December will be here before you know it, exciting!! X #happydays

I loved hearing my little girl’s heartbeat when I was pregnant, and it’s so true that getting your hair done makes you feel so much better. I just wish I had more time to do it! #KCACOLS
