First week of March and it has not been quite what I was expecting – it’s been cold and wet and we have even had a little bit of snow! Where is Spring?

Read
I have not read anything at all this week. There are plenty of books that I like the look of so going to buy one this weekend, there is nothing better than getting lost in a good book.
Watched
I watched ‘The Age of Adaline‘ this week and I really enjoyed it.
As I write this I am also watching the Sex and the City film – oh how I miss those girls. I have been laughing out loud and crying a little watching it.
Heard
I have heard a whole lot of World Book Day chatter, sigh! Meme wanted to go as Alice in Wonderland and I agreed to buy her the outfit but she was little naughty at the weekend so I told her she couldn’t have it – she was a little upset and I felt like a mean Mummy but I know if I gave in and bought it for her she would never learn. So she went in her Elsa outfit – not the most original I know.
Wore
I have been trying to make a little more effort, although not easy in this cold weather! I have even been putting a bit of lippy on for the school run, go me! No pictures I’m afraid – a little camera shy.
Made
Hmm the girls made pizza for tea but that’s all really. I have made a to do list which is really long – does that count?!
And Lastly
We are off to Wales tomorrow for the weekend, we are staying in my friend’s hotel and I’m so excited! I love escaping for the weekend. Have a lovely weekend, and Happy Mothers Day to all the lovely Mummys x

I watched SATC 2 a few weeks ago. I love that film but Carrie annoys me so much in it!

Have a lovely weekend in Wales, my mum and dad have a a caravan there so we get away for a few weekends in the summer. It is nice to feel that you are away from everything! Hope the weather is nice for you, enough now snow, it is March! xx
I think G’s school was the only one not to do world book day! They have a theme day next week to make up for it! Have a wonderful weekend away in wales! xx
Hope you’re having a great time in Wales! I’m so lucky my kids school don’t do anything for World Book Day, no costume panic for me! I miss Sex and the City too, I was watching the reruns the other day, you just never tire of watching them do you x
Your girls looked lovely. You so should post more photos of yourself, I know it’s a bit cringe, but it’s nice to be able to see who you are!! I’m trying to add more photos of myself here and there, but like you I can be camera shy. Plus I worry I’ll come across as totally narcissistic. Though the fact that I’d love to see more photos of you tells me otherwise! Hope you’re having a good week xxx
Well done on sticking to your guns! It’s so hard not to give in though isn’t it. My youngest has me wrapped around her little finger and gets away with way more than her older sister ever would have! Oops!
