A Winter Beach – My Captured Moment

A Winter Beach – My Captured Moment

I love a winter beach – there is something so refreshing about wrapping up warm, wellies on and heading to the beach. I am pretty lucky we live quite close to a few beaches and we go quite often, the girls love it. So last week on the last day of half term we pulled on our hats and coats and headed to New Brighton beach to meet friends and have a good play.

It was such a lovely morning cold and fresh and we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. We built some sandcastles and collected shells, we drew a race track in the sand and had a good run around. We giggled and chased each other until we had rosy cheeks and cold noses.

  1. The beach at anytime is a great place to be. What can be better than building sand castles with you gloves on? ha! I love her little face in the last picture xx

  2. So many people think of beaches as places to visit in the summer, but they are so much fun when it’s cold too. I’ve lived near the sea all my life and can honestly say I’ve been for beach walks more on cold days than hat. It looks like you had a lovely time #MyCapturedMoment

  3. I agree – a walk along the beach is always brilliant – no matter the weather. We are also lucky enough to live close to a beach. I wouldn’t want to miss this. #MyCapturedMoment

  4. How fun! The beach is a perfect place to let the children run free and burn off some energy. Your little girl does look like she has a cold nose though!

    xx

  5. Oh, I love going to the beach at anytime of the year. But actually going in the cold winter months is one of my favourite things. I adore all these photographs and it looks like you an absolutely fabulous time. It sounds fun. #MyCapturedMoment. Hugs Lucy xxxx
